Application
Completed applications are dropped off at the office, 17 Saint Marks Place, Suite 1, or emailed to management@gioiarealty.com. Leasing managers Regina Frankel, Anessa VanSluytman and Garibaldi Fernandez review every application and can be reached at (212) 420-1246.
The application asks for current address and landlord, employer and income, and everyone who will live in the apartment. The signature authorizes Gioia Realty to check credit and employment.
Supporting documents
The office will say which supporting documents to include with the application.
Guarantors
When a guarantor is needed, the guarantor fills in the guarantor form and signs it in front of a notary. The form is a rider to the lease: the guarantor is equally responsible with the tenant for the rent and the other terms of the lease, and the guarantee stays in effect if the lease is renewed or changed. It asks for the guarantor's full name, address, phone numbers, email and driver's license number.
